DESCRIPTION:While we normally do morning launches\, this month we will be launching in the afternoon to try and coordinate with the Central Arkansas Astronomical Society\, who is having a Star Party at Pinnacle Mountain State Park.  Their event starts at 7pm at the Visitor’s Center\, so it should be easy for any of our members and/or guests to move over there after the launch to get a closer look at some astronomical phenomena!  This field is limited to low power only (D impulse or lower).

DESCRIPTION:The Central Arkansas Astronomical Society\, in conjunction with Pinnacle Mountain State Park are holding a Star Party!\nDiscover astronomy with members of the Central Arkansas Astronomical Society. Clouds permitting\, the evening’s telescopic sights typically will include several planets\, the moon\, and other celestial objects depending upon what is in the sky at a given time. This is an excellent family-friendly activity for all ages to experience. Should weather interfere\, some presentations may be moved indoors. \nThis will be immediately after our October Launch\, so we encourage everyone to spread the word and come spend an afternoon/evening at the park! \n
