The launch will take place September 21 and September 22\, 2024. \nThe Pawhuska (Oklahoma) Municipal Airport will be the location for this launch. \nLots to see and do; it will be fun for the whole family. There will on-site camping allowed. Bring your RV\, tent\, etc.\,  but there are no hook-ups at the airport. Generators are allowed but keep in mind if the generator is too loud during launch you may be asked to turn it off.

DESCRIPTION:The Central Arkansas Astronomical Society\, in conjunction with Pinnacle Mountain State Park are holding a Star Party!\nDiscover astronomy with members of the Central Arkansas Astronomical Society. Clouds permitting\, the evening’s telescopic sights typically will include several planets\, the moon\, and other celestial objects depending upon what is in the sky at a given time. This is an excellent family-friendly activity for all ages to experience. Should weather interfere\, some presentations may be moved indoors. \nThis will be immediately after our October Launch\, so we encourage everyone to spread the word and come spend an afternoon/evening at the park! \n
