DESCRIPTION:Solitary rocket building got your down?\nDo you need to eat?\nNow\, you can fix both problems in a single afternoon! \nJoin us on Saturday\, June 24th (this coming week) for an afternoon of fellowship and rocketry at the Asia Buffet at 11121 N Rodney Parham Rd in Little Rock at 12:30 for lunch.  After lunch\, we will discuss the setup and operation of our launch system for anyone interested\, and work on rockets until they chase us out\, or 5pm\, whichever is later. \nAlso as part of our ‘Patriotic’ launch theme for July 8th Launch\, we will have some cardstock rockets on hand to work on if you want\, or bring your own projects that need work or have been recently completed to show off.  It will be a great afternoon! \nAs we are reserving space at the restaurant\, please reply to this email with a positive response by Wednesday to make sure we have enough space reserved.  Be sure to invite your friends and family! \n \n

DESCRIPTION:The Central Arkansas Astronomical Society\, in conjunction with Pinnacle Mountain State Park are holding a Star Party!\nDiscover astronomy with members of the Central Arkansas Astronomical Society. Clouds permitting\, the evening’s telescopic sights typically will include several planets\, the moon\, and other celestial objects depending upon what is in the sky at a given time. This is an excellent family-friendly activity for all ages to experience. Should weather interfere\, some presentations may be moved indoors. \nThis will be immediately after our October Launch\, so we encourage everyone to spread the word and come spend an afternoon/evening at the park! \n
