DESCRIPTION:  \n3\, 2\, 1… LAUNCH! The Windgate Museum of Art and Central Arkansas Rocketry present a community rocket launch from 9 am–12 pm on April 6 at the Hendrix College outdoor playing fields on E. Siebenmorgan Rd. Participants can bring their Windgate supplied rocket or other hobby grade rockets to launch. Central Arkansas Rocketry will conduct a safety check on all rockets prior to launch. After the launch\, head over to the museum to see the K-12 art exhibition\, The Moon and Beyond; In the Shadow of the Moon\, the dynamic\, multi-media exhibition exploring humankind’s fascination with eclipses\, the moon\, and space; and Totality\, an immersive 360 degree short film on eclipses and what to expect on April 8! \n
