Community Launch for Windgate Museum of Art at Hendrix College

3, 2, 1… LAUNCH! The Windgate Museum of Art and Central Arkansas Rocketry present a community rocket launch from 9 am–12 pm on April 6 at the Hendrix College outdoor playing fields on E. Siebenmorgan Rd. Participants can bring their Windgate supplied rocket or other hobby grade rockets to launch. Central Arkansas Rocketry will conduct a safety check on all rockets prior to launch. After the launch, head over to the museum to see the K-12 art exhibition, The Moon and Beyond; In the Shadow of the Moon, the dynamic, multi-media exhibition exploring humankind’s fascination with eclipses, the moon, and space; and Totality, an immersive 360 degree short film on eclipses and what to expect on April 8!
